The World Bank has approved additional funding of $664 million for the INSPIRE project, which will continue to support 29 types of social payments to the most vulnerable segments of the population in Ukraine, announced Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
“Today, the World Bank approved additional funding of $664 million for the INSPIRE project, which will continue to support 29 types of social payments to the most vulnerable groups in Ukraine. Of this amount, $662 million will come from the Target Fund for providing necessary credit support to Ukraine, ADVANCEUkraine, which is backed by the government of Japan,” - wrote Shmyhal on X on Thursday.
He expressed gratitude to the government of Japan and the leadership of the World Bank “for their ongoing support, cooperation, and solidarity with the people of Ukraine.”
