In a Paris suburb, a hundred people were urgently evacuated from their homes due to the risk of a collapse.

Around one hundred residents of a high-rise building in the suburban area of Argenteuil, near Paris, were forced to evacuate their homes urgently due to the risk of collapse.

Approximately one hundred residents of an apartment building in the suburb of Paris, Argenteuil, were forced to evacuate their homes due to the threat of collapse.

As reported by "European Truth," this information comes from BFMTV.

The incident occurred on the morning of Thursday, November 7, in a building on Jean Moulin Street. The alarm was raised by one of the residents, whose bathroom ceiling collapsed with a concrete block, and according to her, the house "was shifting."

About a dozen specialists from the fire and rescue service arrived at the scene, and residents were ordered to evacuate because cracks were noticed in the building's walls. As a precaution, several entrances were evacuated. The mayor of Argenteuil ordered an assessment of the building's safety.

A crisis center was opened for the evacuated residents, where they can temporarily stay and receive options for temporary accommodation if they do not have their own. Security has been deployed around the damaged building to prevent looting or other incidents.

Later that same day, a similar situation occurred in Strasbourg, but it involved a small house, and only a few apartments were evacuated.

It is worth noting that in Serbia, as a result of the collapse of a canopy at a train station in the city of Novi Sad, 14 people lost their lives, which sparked an anti-government protest with riots.

The Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure resigned due to this incident following the event.
