Ukraine will receive air defense missiles from the Estonian defense company Frankenburg Technology for testing by the end of 2024.

According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, as reported by "European Truth".

This was discussed during a meeting in Kyiv between Deputy Defense Minister Brigadier General Anatoliy Klochko and the leadership of Frankenburg Technology.

The ministry noted that the first missile samples for testing will arrive by the end of 2024.

The missiles that Ukraine will test are primarily designed to counter drones and can hit targets at altitudes of up to 2 km.

Kusti Salm, the Executive Director of Frankenburg Technology, emphasized that the company's goal is to win this war.

"To achieve this, we are offering a sample of a new low-cost missile for intercepting aerial targets, particularly unmanned aerial vehicles," Salm shared.

He pointed out that if the tests are successful and there is agreement for further use, the production of these missiles could be organized in Ukraine.

The parties have preliminarily agreed that the next step could involve coordinating the funding format for missile production.

As reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, only on the night of November 8, the air defense forces managed to shoot down 62 enemy drones out of 92 that Russia used to attack Ukrainian regions.

Recently, Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkuro discussed the possibility of purchasing drones from Ukraine during a meeting with the head of the country’s Defense Forces, Andrus Merilo.
