UK intelligence reports that approximately 2,000 Russian drones targeted Ukraine in October.

In a recent report, British intelligence examines the strikes carried out by the Russian army using drones across various regions of Ukraine throughout October and the first week of November.

The British intelligence has released a new report analyzing the strikes by the Russian army using drones against various regions of Ukraine throughout October and the first week of November.

This report has been published on X (Twitter) by the British Ministry of Defense, as reported by "European Truth."

The report noted that in October 2024, Russia launched approximately 2,000 one-way attack drones at Ukrainian regions, which is about 700 more than in September.

According to British intelligence, continuous Russian investments in the production of one-way attack drones, diversification of supplies, and expansion of launch platforms have contributed to a steady increase in the number of launches since mid-2024.

The military indicated that during the first week of November, the intensity of Russian launches remained high, in line with the figures from recent weeks.

As the launch platforms are relatively simple and can be easily restored if necessary, if production continues without hindrance, the main limiting factor for Russian operations using one-way attack drones is likely to be human resources concerning launch capabilities.

Intelligence analysts suggest that the high rates observed in September and October are likely to become the norm.

As reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, only on the night of November 8, the air defense forces managed to shoot down 62 enemy drones out of 92 that Russia used to attack Ukrainian regions.

In early November, U.S. Ambassador Bridget Brink stated that the U.S. State Department has funded the operation of 800 mobile fire groups in Ukraine, which have shot down more than 200 Russian drones since the beginning of the year.

On November 8, it was announced that Ukraine will receive air defense missiles from the Estonian defense company Frankenburg Technology for testing by the end of 2024.
