Orban: Europe cannot fund the war in Ukraine without Trump’s support.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban believes that Europe will not be able to independently finance Ukraine's defense if the United States withdraws its support under a new term for Donald Trump.

The Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban believes that Europe will not be able to independently finance Ukraine's defense if the United States withdraws its support under a new presidential term for Donald Trump.

He made this statement on Friday, November 8, during a broadcast on public radio, as reported by Bloomberg, according to "European Truth".

Orban recalled his "peacekeeping trips" to Kyiv, Moscow, and Beijing over the summer and mentioned that recent events have confirmed the conclusions he drew from those visits.

According to the Hungarian Prime Minister, the U.S. is allegedly planning to "exit" what he considers a losing war.

Therefore, he argued, if Trump decides not to support Ukraine, Europe will be unable to provide such support on its own.

"The Americans will exit this war. Europe cannot finance this war independently," he concluded.

It is worth noting that the political director and close advisor to the Hungarian Prime Minister, Balazs Orban, believes that Trump should call Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin to establish a communication line with Russia and facilitate a ceasefire in Ukraine.

As is known, Orban was the first in the EU to congratulate Trump on his victory in the presidential elections, without waiting for the official results. He also stated the need for a new European strategy regarding Ukraine.
