"We discussed defense and Ukraine, trade, and energy. Together, we can foster prosperity and stability on both sides of the Atlantic," she stated.

Previously, following the European Political Community summit in Budapest, President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his belief that Trump wants a swift end to the war, but this could imply losses for Ukraine.
