U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot emphasized their commitment to continue supporting Ukraine during a phone conversation.
This was reported following the discussion by the U.S. State Department, as conveyed by "European Truth".
According to the U.S. State Department, both parties "stressed their shared determination to continue assisting Ukraine and supporting its efforts to defend freedom and achieve victory".
Blinken and Barrot also addressed other significant foreign policy issues during their conversation.
In particular, the officials discussed the importance of diplomatic resolution in Lebanon and the cessation of the war in Gaza.
