Zelensky is uncertain whether Trump will meet with him before his meeting with Putin.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has not received any assurance from Trump that their meeting will take place before Trump’s meeting with Putin.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, does not have assurance from Trump that their meeting will take place before Trump's meeting with Putin.

He acknowledged this during a panel discussion in response to a question from American host Christiane Amanpour, as reported by a correspondent from "European Truth".

When asked whether he has any reason to hope for a meeting with Donald Trump before Trump speaks with the Russian leader, Zelensky replied, "no, of course not," and then attempted to steer the conversation to a different topic. "We have a plan. This is our country, and therefore it's our plan," he insisted, after which the host asked again, clarifying that she was interested in the order of the meetings – who would be the first to shape the position of the US president.

Zelensky once again redirected the conversation, but assured that both he and Trump are interested in meeting because the idea had been mentioned several times during their last phone call.

"It seems I was the first to suggest it," he added.

Volodymyr Zelensky also noted that he hopes to negotiate with Trump as soon as possible. "We need to meet urgently if we want to stop the wars," he added, without specifying a likely date for such negotiations.

As reported earlier, Zelensky stated that he is ready to talk with Trump about everything, including NATO, but there are red lines.

He also mentioned that Trump did not mention Europe as a negotiator during their conversation.
