The mobile operator Vodafone has announced a change in the pricing for the "Year without subscription fees" service for new connections across several tariffs.

This was reported by Vodafone. The changes will take effect on January 13 and may result in an increase in tariff costs by 40-60 UAH.

According to information provided by Vodafone, the new prices for the "Year without subscription fees" service will be as follows:

  • Vodafone Light+ – 2035 UAH per year;
  • Joice (2023) – 2860 UAH per year;
  • Vodafone SuperNet Start 2023/Start+ – 2600 UAH per year;
  • Joice Start 2023/Start Special – 2860 UAH per year;
  • Joice Pro 2023 – 3220 UAH per year;
  • Joice Max 2023 – 3990 UAH per year.

Experts from the technical community MZU (Mobile Communication of Ukraine) believe that the increase in the "Year without subscription fees" service will lead to a rise in tariff prices.

Specifically, their calculations suggest the prices may change as follows:

  • Vodafone Light+ – will increase by 40 UAH to 185 UAH/4 weeks;
  • Joice – will rise by 60 UAH to 260 UAH/4 weeks;
  • Joice Start/Start Special 2023 – will grow by 60 UAH to 260 UAH/4 weeks;
  • Joice Pro 2023 – will increase by 60 UAH to 320 UAH/4 weeks;
  • Joice Max 2023 – will become more expensive by 60 UAH to 390 UAH/4 weeks.

Vodafone promises to announce the final tariff prices after the new prices for the "Year without subscription fees" service come into effect. The exact cost of service packages for 4 weeks and any potential changes to their composition will be published after January 13, 2025.
