Russia has announced another meeting with the U.S. to discuss "irritants" in their relationship.

U.S. and Russian officials are expected to hold a meeting within the next two weeks to discuss issues related to their bilateral relations.

U.S. and Russian officials are set to meet to discuss issues in their bilateral relations within the next two weeks.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov stated this to the propaganda agency "RIA Novosti", as reported by "European Truth".

According to Ryabkov, Washington and Moscow plan to hold a Russian-American meeting at the level of department heads in the coming weeks, where they will address the elimination of "irritants" in their relationship.

Lavrov's deputy added that this meeting will be preceded by consultations at the deputy level to gather information on "who will serve as our interlocutor from the American side at this level."

He mentioned that the meeting at the department heads' level will take place in a third country, and the specific location is currently being agreed upon.

Recall that on February 18, a meeting of top officials from Russia and the U.S. took place in Saudi Arabia without Ukraine's participation.

During this meeting, the parties agreed to "eliminate the irritants" in bilateral relations and to continue working on preparing negotiations regarding Russia's war against Ukraine.
