Two individuals lost their lives in a knife attack at a store in the Czech Republic.
Law enforcement reported this on Thursday, February 20, as conveyed by the AP, according to "European Pravda".
The police stated that they apprehended a suspect who attacked two women with a knife on the morning of Thursday, February 20, in a store in the city of Hradec Králové.
Initially, the police reported that both women had been injured, one of them seriously; however, later, law enforcement confirmed that both victims had died. Their identities have not been established.
It is worth noting that on February 16, an attack occurred in the center of the alpine city of Villach in southern Austria. A young man unexpectedly assaulted random passersby with a knife.
As a result of the assailant's actions, a 14-year-old teenager was killed, and five others were injured.
Austria officially confirmed that the attacker was motivated by Islamist beliefs.
