In 2024, Ukrainians frequently ordered shoes (37% of total orders in this category) in the "up to 5 kg" category and Starlink internet coverage systems in the "over 5 kg" category through NP Shopping, a service by the Nova group of companies for delivering goods from international online stores.
"Ukrainians are a nation that loves to look good, dress stylishly, and read a lot. At the same time, they also enjoy printing things on a 3D printer," states a message from the NP Shopping service on LinkedIn.
According to the released data, among orders up to 5 kg, t-shirts (20% of orders in the category), jeans (15%), books, and cosmetics (14% of orders in the category each) were also frequently ordered.
As for products in the "over 5 kg" category, besides Starlink systems, Ukrainians primarily ordered charging stations (29%), 3D printers and related materials (12% and 11% respectively), as well as car headlights (10%).
The top five countries from which orders were made included America (57%), Poland (19%), the United Kingdom (10%), Germany (9%), and Spain (5%).
Among the stores and marketplaces where orders were most frequently placed using NP Shopping, Ebay and Amazon ranked highest; in the clothing sector, Zara, H&M, and Nike took the lead.
It was reported that the number of orders from international online stores through the NP Shopping service increased by 55% in 2023 compared to 2022.
