In Ukraine, the domestic wheat market has seen price increases over the past few weeks, reported the information and analytical agency "APK-Inform".
"Millers have reported low stocks and difficulties with the raw material base, which has prevented most of them from operating at full capacity. There were almost no offers for grain milling condition," analysts noted.
According to their information, offers for 3rd class wheat and feed were more active, but most farmers, anticipating price increases, were in no hurry to sell. Further increases in prices on the export grain market continued to support domestic prices.
Prices for 2nd and 3rd class wheat were primarily recorded in the range of 10000-11200 UAH/ton and 9800-10800 UAH/ton CPT, while feed wheat prices ranged from 9200-10400 UAH/ton CPT, as stated by "APK-Inform".
