Ukraine has received nearly $300 million (400 million Canadian dollars) in concessional financing from Canada, announced Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
"The funds have already been allocated to the state budget. I thank Canada for its unwavering solidarity. Since the onset of the full-scale war, we have received $5.4 billion in direct budget support from our Canadian partners. This is a significant contribution to our resilience," - Shmyhal wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to him, these funds are being used to finance crucial budget expenditures, thereby fulfilling the state's obligations to its citizens.
"I am confident that Canada will continue to stand by Ukraine in our joint struggle for freedom," - concluded the Prime Minister.
