Trump shared that over the weekend, American military launched a precision airstrike against one of the leaders of "Al-Qaeda" in Syria.
He noted that the terrorist leader was collaborating with "Al-Qaeda" across the region.
Trump congratulated the head of the U.S. Central Command, General Michael Kurilla, and the military pilots on the successful operation.
On December 20, the U.S. Central Command announced the elimination of the leader of the "Islamic State" (ISIS), Abu Yusuf, during an airstrike in Syria.
Earlier in February, American forces destroyed five ISIS militants in a precision airstrike in Iraq.
