French media have unofficially learned that the first batch of Mirage 2000-5 aircraft, which France plans to provide to Ukraine, will consist of three units.

According to "European Truth," this information was published by the outlet La Tribune, citing anonymous sources.

Journalists discovered that the first batch of Mirages for Ukraine will include three aircraft, which are expected to be delivered "in the first trimester" of 2025 (January-April). By that time, the preparation of the aircraft and the training of pilots and mechanics should be completed.

The planes will be equipped with SCALP/Storm Shadow cruise missiles and French-guided air-to-ground bombs AASM.

The French Ministry of Defense did not comment on this information.

Previously, Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu stated that the delivery of fighters to Ukraine is scheduled for the first quarter of 2025.

In September, the Ukrainian Defense Minister mentioned that negotiations are also underway with partners regarding Swedish Saab JAS-39 Gripen and German-British Eurofighter Typhoon.
