Ощадбанк и Укрэксимбанк уже предоставляют кредиты ОПК по программе "5-7-9%", ПУМБ скоро подключится, сообщает ФРУ.

The state-owned Oschadbank and Ukreximbank (both based in Kyiv) have already begun to extend loans to enterprises in the defense-industrial complex (DIC) under the favorable terms of the "Affordable Loans 5-7-9%" program. It is expected that PUMB will join the initiative, reported the Federation of Employers of Ukraine (FEU) on Facebook on Thursday.

"Oschadbank and Ukreximbank have already joined the program, and active work is underway for PUMB to participate," the FEU publication stated following an online meeting with the Ministry of Strategic Industries and bankers.

It is noted that the 2024 budget allocates UAH 263 million for interest rate compensation for DIC enterprises. According to estimates from bankers present at the meeting, the total amount of loans that could be provided under this program may reach UAH 14-15 billion.

Under the program's terms, a borrower can obtain up to UAH 100 million for replenishing working capital for a period of up to three years, and for investment projects, up to UAH 500 million for a term of up to five years. The interest rate is set at 5%.

It is reported that as collateral for loans for investment projects, the enterprise's equipment or signed contracts may be used. Bank representatives emphasized that portfolio guarantees can cover up to 80% of the collateral for working capital loans.

"A key condition for participation in the program is the critical nature of the enterprise, which is confirmed by the Ministry of Strategic Industries," the post noted.

As previously reported, at the beginning of November, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a new program for preferential lending to enterprises in the defense-industrial complex (DIC).

In the draft state budget for 2025, UAH 500 million is allocated for this program.
