JSC "Kharkivoblenergo" is collaborating with the American company GE Vernova to implement a project aimed at establishing a fleet of mobile substations for high and medium voltage based on the regional energy company, the company reported on its website, citing the head of "Kharkivoblenergo," Vyacheslav Kravtsov.
"Currently, this is a new type of equipment for us, but we have tactical plans on how to utilize it. We have already prepared several grant applications, technical specifications, held productive meetings, and familiarized ourselves with the products and services of the legendary company, which has over 120 years of history," he stated at the international conference Rebuild Ukraine in Warsaw on November 14.
As the CEO reminded, active combat operations continue in the Kharkiv region, and every day, often under fire, repair teams from the regional energy company have to carry out emergency restoration work.
"In order to promptly restore electricity distribution and connect generation, we have modeled and selected a technical solution – a mobile substation," Kravtsov noted.
