The Epicentr Ceramic Corporation doubled its exports in 2024 and announced the resumption of its global expansion plans, as stated by the director of Epicentr Ceramic Corporation, Vladimir Syrov, at the Cevisama 2025 exhibition in Valencia, Spain.
Epicentr Ceramic Corporation, a part of the "Epicentr" group of companies, has become the only Ukrainian ceramic tile manufacturer to present its own booth at the largest international industry exhibition, Cevisama 2025 (Valencia, Spain).
This marked a significant return after a six-year hiatus, as the last time the company participated in the exhibition was in 2019, following the launch of the first phase of its factory. At that time, the company had ambitious plans for production development and expansion into international markets, achieving over 50% export share within the first two years. However, the war significantly impacted the realization of these plans: the enterprise underwent a challenging recovery after combat actions, losing logistics chains and raw material sources in Eastern Ukraine.
According to Syrov, thanks to the company's efforts, Epicentr Ceramic Corporation achieved record results in 2024, moving up to second place among ceramic tile producers in Ukraine (up from third place in 2023), increasing tile sales by 1.5 times, particularly exports by more than double. The company aims to restore its ambitious plans for conquering export markets.
"Cevisama 2025 marked the first step in realizing these plans. Even in the first days of the exhibition, the Epicentr Ceramic Corporation booth attracted significant interest from representatives of various countries, including the UK, Latin America, Morocco, and others. Many visitors were surprised that such high-tech products are manufactured in Ukraine during wartime," noted Syrov.
At Cevisama 2025, Epicentr Ceramic Corporation presented a booth covering 90 square meters, showcasing 160 SKUs, over a third of which are new products for 2025. Specifically, this includes the Super Mat technology (an optically matte surface that does not reflect light, has a pleasant texture, and high anti-slip properties, making it an ideal solution for commercial spaces) and Soft Mat (an innovative surface combining the benefits of satin texture with high wear resistance, allowing its use in spacious areas).
During the exhibition, Epicentr Ceramic Corporation showcased its large-format tiles (1.2 m × 1.2 m), produced exclusively in Ukraine thanks to the Continua technology. This technology is rare even among leading European brands.
The company currently exports products to 16 countries. Priority directions for further expansion include Germany, France, the UK, Belgium, Turkey, the USA, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and other highly developed markets.
As reported, in 2019, "Epicentr K" invested 3 billion UAH in constructing the largest ceramic tile manufacturing plant covering 70,000 square meters in Kalynivka (Kyiv region). The facility is located on a 20-hectare site near the "Kalynivka" customs terminal and the Epicentr group's warehouse complex, with the Epicentr Ceramic Corporation production equipped with advanced technologies from the world leader SACMI, boasting a capacity of 12 million square meters of tiles annually. Plans are in place to increase this to 18 million square meters by 2027.
The company's participation in Cevisama 2025 is an important step toward restoring exports and promoting Ukrainian ceramic products in the international market. The company continues to innovate and expand its global presence.
The Epicentr group of companies is an omnichannel ecosystem that includes the "Epicentr" and "Nova Liniya" retail chains, the online store epicentrk.ua, the agricultural holding "Epicentr-Agro," the ceramic tile manufacturing plants of Epicentr Ceramic Corporation, the woodworking enterprise CBM "Osmoloda," and logistics facilities.
Before the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, the "Epicentr" network comprised over 80 shopping centers across all regions of the country. The war destroyed seven shopping centers in Mariupol, Nikopol, Bucha, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and two in Kherson. Three more facilities (in Melitopol, Kramatorsk, and Kharkiv) are non-operational due to the occupation of Ukrainian territories, shelling, or proximity to combat zones.
As of the end of 2024, the retailer's network included 71 operational shopping centers in Ukraine.
According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs, the participants of LLC "Epicentr K" are Alexander Geriga (51.3%), Galina Geriga (47.97%), and Tatyana Surzhik (0.73%).
