The European Business Association (EBA) and the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection (SSUFSCP) have signed a memorandum of cooperation and interaction to address issues related to food security, the association's press service reported.
According to the announcement, the main areas of collaboration will include diagnosing and resolving current issues in food safety, as well as conducting and providing informational support for thematic events.
"One of the key objectives of the memorandum is to establish a mechanism for interaction between the SSUFSCP and the association for exchanging practical experiences in the application of legislation across 20 areas of responsibility of the SSUFSCP. These areas include veterinary medicine, food safety, and consumer rights protection," the EBA clarified.
