From "Avatar" to "Oppenheimer" — Ukrainians have been presented with a ranking of ideal movies to watch for the New Year!
The year 2024 is almost over, and a new year, 2025, is approaching. There’s no better way to celebrate the New Year than by watching movies!
A list of some of the most popular films ever made has been compiled, including a few that were released this year, so you can choose what to watch while relaxing on the first day of the new year, 2025.
“Jurassic Park” (1993)
A wealthy entrepreneur (Richard Attenborough) secretly creates a theme park featuring live dinosaurs cloned from prehistoric DNA. Before the grand opening, he invites a team of experts (Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum) along with his eager grandchildren to tour the park and help calm nervous investors. However, the park turns out to be anything but fun, as the security systems fail and the dinosaurs escape.
“Avengers: Endgame” (2019)
Following the devastating events of “Avengers: Infinity War,” the universe is left in ruins due to the actions of the Mad Titan Thanos (Josh Brolin). With the remaining allies, the Avengers must regroup to undo Thanos's actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, regardless of the consequences.
“Aliens” (1986)
When a rescue team finds Ripley’s (Sigourney Weaver) escape pod more than 50 years later, they discover that terraformers are on the same planet where they encountered the alien species. When the company sends a group of colonists to investigate, all communication with the planet and colonists is lost. They enlist Ripley and colonial marines to go back and seek answers.
“Terminator 2: Judgment Day” (1991)
Nearly 10 years have passed since Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) became the target of a cyborg from the future. Now her son John (Edward Furlong), the future leader of the resistance, is the target of a new, more deadly terminator (Robert Patrick). The resistance has managed to send a protector (Arnold Schwarzenegger) back to try to save John and his mother Sarah.
“Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” (2023)
Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) returns in the next chapter of the Oscar-winning Spider-Verse saga, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. After reuniting with Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld), the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man from Brooklyn is catapulted through the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People tasked with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash over how to deal with a new threat, Miles finds himself caught in a battle with other Spider-People and must rethink what it means to be a hero in order to save the people he loves the most.

A paralyzed Marine (Sam Worthington) embarks on a unique mission to the moon Pandora in the 22nd century, but he finds himself torn between following orders and protecting an alien civilization.
