The presidential candidate of Poland, Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski, leads the trust rating for public figures, while the anti-Ukrainian "Confederation" candidate Slawomir Mentzen has achieved a personal record in the rankings.
These are the results of an IBRiS survey for Onet, reported by "European Truth".
The portal emphasized that Trzaskowski again tops the trust rating for public figures with a score of 43.5% (19.5% fully trust him, 24% tend to trust him). "This is an increase of 2.3 percentage points compared to the January survey. 44.8% of respondents do not trust the presidential candidate from the 'Civic Coalition', while 10.4% have a neutral stance towards him," the article states.
In second place in the trust rating is Andrzej Duda with 37.8% (12.2% fully trust him, 25.6% tend to trust him). This is a decrease of 3.2 percentage points compared to the previous study.
In third place is Mateusz Morawiecki, who is trusted by 36.7% of survey participants.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk maintains the fourth position with a trust level of 35.7% among respondents (a decrease of 2.6 percentage points). Meanwhile, in fifth place is the presidential candidate supported by the opposition "Law and Justice", President of the National Memory Institute Karol Nawrocki, who, according to the IBRiS survey, is trusted by 33.2% of citizens. This is a significant decrease of 5.3 percentage points compared to last month.
The top ten also includes the Speaker of the Sejm, leader of the "Poland 2050" party, Szymon Hołownia (32.6% trust), the president of the "Law and Justice" party, Jarosław Kaczyński (31.8% trust), the leader of the Left Party, Włodzimierz Czarzasty (28.6%), presidential candidate from the "Confederation" Slawomir Mentzen with a personal record of 28.3% trust, and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz (28.2% trust).
"Slawomir Mentzen demonstrates the best result in the history of IBRiS trust surveys for Onet since his debut in April 2023. Since December of last year, the politician has gained a total of 6.1 percentage points," the publication notes.
The survey was conducted by the Institute of Market and Social Research IBRiS on February 23-24, 2025, using a nationwide sample of 1,100 people through standardized computer interviews with questionnaires.
As reported, less than a third of Poles are currently satisfied with the actions of Donald Tusk's government, with nearly twice as many expressing dissatisfaction.
