The deadline for reviewing previously made decisions regarding the designation of enterprises, institutions, and organizations as critical for the functioning of the economy and ensuring the livelihood of the population during a special period has been extended by one month, reports the press service of the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine on Wednesday.
"Deferrals from conscription for military service due to mobilization, which were granted to those liable for military service by decisions of the Ministry of Economy and through the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services and have not expired by the date of the adoption of the aforementioned resolution, remain in effect until March 31, 2025," the statement said.
According to the ministry, the relevant decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on February 25 under resolution No. 208 "On Amending the Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from January 27, 2023, No. 76 and November 22, 2024, No. 1332."
The Ministry of Strategic Industries reminded that enterprises, institutions, and organizations that were designated as critical before November 23, 2024, need to confirm this status by submitting the appropriate application to the ministry along with copies of documents that verify compliance with the criteria.
As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers extended the validity of deferrals for reserved workers until March 31.
The Cabinet of Ministers, by resolution No. 1489 dated December 24, 2024, automatically extended the reservation from mobilization by one month for those in effect as of December 19 (when a cyberattack on state registries occurred), but no longer than until February 28, 2025.
At the end of January, member companies of the European Business Association (EBA) appealed to the Ukrainian government requesting a two-month extension of the existing reservations and to shift the deadline for updating criticality to April 30.
