If a person is seeking a higher salary, sleeping on their stomach with their arms raised may contribute to career advancement. This is reported by the resource Study Finds.
According to a survey of 5,438 working professionals, it was discovered that sleeping positions may not only be a matter of comfort but also a predictor of financial potential.
The majority of people—29% of respondents—curl up in a fetal position. Meanwhile, it became clear that well-paid professionals opt for "freefall," lying on their stomachs with their arms raised high as if they have just jumped out of an airplane.
British body language expert Inbaal Honigman believes that successful individuals are inherently inclined to take risks. Conversely, the fetal position or hugging a pillow is characteristic of those who prioritize comfort and security.
Furthermore, the study found that high-earning workers sleep an average of 6 hours and 58 minutes, which is 22 minutes more than low-paid workers. Additionally, they wake up at 6:42 AM, while the average worker rises at 7:06 AM.
As a reminder, in China, an employee was fired for falling asleep at work. Considering this decision to be unjust, the worker filed a lawsuit against the company, won the case, and received 350,000 yuan, approximately 48,000 dollars, in compensation.
