The "Star Wars: Skeleton Crew" series will tell the story of four children who are searching for their home planet after getting lost in the galaxy, as well as the strange aliens and dangerous places they encounter during their adventure.
Star Wars is set to engage with its own mythology through the new series "Skeleton Crew."
The upcoming series "Star Wars: Skeleton Crew," which follows a group of children on their journey through the galaxy, sounds like it will dive into the perception of the Jedi from its young characters' perspectives.
“We wanted to convey the idea that these kids have heard about Jedi and stories of the battle between good and evil, much like how we hear magical tales or stories about King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table on our planet,” said one of the series creators, Chris Ford, to The HoloFiles.
As with everything related to "Star Wars" these days, you will be able to watch "Star Wars: Skeleton" on Disney+ when it premieres this year.
The premiere of the "Star Wars: Skeleton Crew" series will take place on December 3, 2024, on Disney Plus, coinciding with the family Christmas season, as reported a few months ago.
Recently, director of the 3rd season of "The Mandalorian" (and "Twisters") Lee Isaac Chung hinted that the new series Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will be “very child-friendly in the best way,” confirming that it contains much of what made John Watts’ filmography so special.
“I hope it really touches families, and families will want to spend a lot of time with this show,” he added.
