In the capital, a drunken man smashed the window of a police patrol car, causing damage exceeding 16 thousand hryvnias.
This is reported in the verdict of the Darniцьky District Court.
The man, a native of Brovary in the Kyiv region, was in a state of intoxication when he noticed a Mitsubishi Outlander patrol car near Lake "Lebedyno." He approached the vehicle and punched the right rear window, causing it to shatter. The damage inflicted on the Patrol Police Department amounted to 16,935 UAH.
The Darniцьky District Court found the defendant guilty of hooliganism and gross violation of public order, which was accompanied by audacity and disrespect towards society. The court imposed a sentence of probation supervision for a period of 1 year and 6 months.
During this time, the man is required to:
periodically register with the probation authorities;
notify about any changes in residence, employment, or education;
obtain permission for travel abroad.
Additionally, Politeka wrote that in Izmail, Odesa region, a conflict in a supermarket ended with serious injuries for a store guard. The man assaulted the guard because he did not want to wait in line.
