The Izmail district in the Odessa region was subjected to a drone attack on the night of February 13.
This was reported by the head of the Odessa regional administration, Oleg Kiper.
"During the night, the enemy launched a massive attack on the Izmail district using strike drones. One person was injured. Our air defense forces worked on destroying the enemy drones," the statement said.
According to him, as a result of the enemy attack, port infrastructure and an inactive educational institution were damaged.
Shrapnel damaged a vehicle in which a woman was present; she sustained a shrapnel injury to her thigh and was hospitalized in moderate condition.
The Odessa regional prosecutor's office and the Izmail district prosecutor's office initiated pre-trial investigations into the commission of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, on the night of February 13, the armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out a massive drone attack on the Odessa region.
As a result of the strikes, damage was inflicted on the port infrastructure of the Danube region, as well as residential buildings, an educational institution, and vehicles.
A 51-year-old local resident was injured and has been hospitalized.
In the Odessa district, a private property yard was damaged, and a full list of destruction and damages resulting from the enemy attack is being established.
