"I'm not here to announce anything public or unconsidered. That’s not my job. That’s the president's job. He is the leader, he is a master of negotiations and agreement drafting," Gegset emphasized.
The U.S. Secretary of Defense responded to this suggestion, noting that the final decision on this matter rests with Donald Trump, as reported by Politeka.
He also added: "some of us are there to help establish certain conditions that could make an agreement more likely, and that is what I have been trying to do here, in the context of NATO."
