During the offensive on Liptsy, the occupiers aimed to simultaneously reach the outskirts of Kharkiv to resume terror in Northern Saltivka, as well as to break through to Velykyi Burluk.

According to the expert, Ukraine deployed the 13th National Guard Brigade "Chartia", the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, and units from the Special Operations Forces and Military Intelligence to counter the Russian advance, successfully minimizing the enemy's breakthrough.
In the area of responsibility of "Chartia," the occupiers suffered at least 750 killed in action and no fewer than 1100 wounded, along with over 200 units of equipment and more than 1200 shelters destroyed.
The expert noted that currently Liptsy is one of the most stable positions being held, and there are periodic operations to reclaim territories. The occupiers are unable to use their equipment here due to the fire control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine extending throughout the depth of their breakthrough.
As a result, from the beginning of 2025, the Defense Forces of Ukraine managed to eliminate at least 100 occupiers, over 150 drones, and more than a hundred shelters in the Liptsy area.
"In fact, Liptsy has turned into a veritable meat grinder for the Russians, although they had planned the meat grinder for the suburbs of Kharkiv," added Alexander Kovalenko.
